Starter Motor No Load Test

Place starter on bench. Connect a fully-charged 12-volt battery to starter. See Fig 1. Starter should rotate smoothly. Ensure starter draw is less than maximum specification. See NO LOAD TEST SPECIFICATIONS  table.
