Clutch Start System: Adjustment

Ensure engine does not start when clutch pedal is released. Ensure engine starts when clutch pedal is fully depressed. On Pickup, Supra and 4Runner, ensure clearance "A" is greater than 0.04" (1.0 mm) when clutch is fully depressed. See Fig 1.
