Switch Adjustment

Ensure engine does not start when clutch pedal is released. Ensure engine starts when clutch pedal is fully depressed.
On all models, if system is not operating correctly, check clutch start switch. With switch in ON (pushed) position, continuity should exist. With switch in OFF (free) position, continuity should not exist. See CLUTCH SWITCH PLUNGER CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONS . See Fig 1. Replace or adjust switch as necessary.
