Electronically Controlled Transmission/Transaxle (ECT)

On Land Cruiser, a separate Transmission Control Module (TCM) for electronic-controlled transmission is used. The Engine Control Module (ECM) receives and delivers information to the TCM for controlling of transmission shifting.
