DTC 13 - RPM SIGNAL TROUBLE SHOOTING

Code 13 indicates a momentary interruption in the "G" or "NE" signal from distributor to ECM has occurred, but has returned to normal. Although problem may not be present at time of inspection, it cannot be ignored because trouble code has been set, indicating a malfunction has occurred at one time in the "G" or "NE" signal circuit. Check distributor connector and "NE" terminal of ECM connector for the following:
- Loose Connectors
- Dirty Connector Terminals
- Loose Connector Terminals
