EGR Gas Temperature Sensor
NOTE:
The EGR gas temperature sensor may be referred to as EGR function sensor.
- Remove EGR gas temperature sensor from side of EGR valve. Place threaded end of sensor and thermometer in container of oil.
- Attach ohmmeter to electrical terminals. Heat oil and note resistance at specified temperature. See EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR SPECIFICATIONS table. Replace EGR gas temperature sensor if resistance is not within specification.
