Door Courtesy Switch Circuit Test
- Check that open door warning light comes on when each door is opened, and goes off when all doors are closed. If light does not come on or go off, check open door warning light circuit.
- With ignition off, remove luggage compartment left side panel. Remove wireless door lock ECU to gain access to ECU connector. Using DVOM, backprobe ECU connector measuring voltage between terminals No. 14 (Red/White wire) and chassis ground. See Figure. Terminal voltage reading should be between 10-14 volts. If specified voltage is not detected, repair Red/White wire.
