Intake Air Control Valve: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect hoses at intake air control valve. Intake air control valve is located on end of air intake chamber. See Figure.
  2. Remove data link connector No. 1, bracket and ground straps from intake air control valve. Remove remaining nuts for intake air control valve.
  3. Remove intake air control valve by prying between air intake chamber and intake air control valve. Remove gasket.
