Circuit Description

A pick-up coil is mounted in distributor. A 4-tooth signal rotor is mounted to distributor shaft. Code is set when no NE signal is input to ECM for 2 seconds or more after STA signal is turned on. Possible causes are:

• NE open or short circuit.
• Distributor.
• STA open or short circuit.
• ECM.
