Pump Motor Relay
- Remove pump motor relay, located on actuator. Using a DVOM, check continuity between specified terminals. Continuity should not exist between relay terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should exist between relay terminals No. 3 and 4. Using fused jumper wire, connect positive battery terminal to pump motor relay terminal No. 4. Connect negative battery terminal to pump motor relay terminal No. 3. See Figure.
- Continuity should exist between relay terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should not exist between relay terminals No. 1 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace pump motor relay.
