Fuel Pressure Regulator: Removal
- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . On turbo models, remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY under FUEL system.
- On all models, disconnect vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator, located on end of fuel rail. Remove fuel return line-to-fuel pressure regulator union bolt and disconnect fuel return line with gaskets from fuel rail.
- Remove fuel pressure regulator with "O" ring from fuel rail. Remove "O" ring from fuel pressure regulator.
