Battery Capacity Check
Open transmitter and remove batteries. Connect 4 new 1.5-volt dry-cell batteries in series. See Fig 1. Connect battery positive terminal to battery receptacle side terminal and battery negative terminal to bottom terminal in order to provide 6 volts to transmitter. Attempt to operate door lock by remote control. If door locks operate, replace batteries. If door locks do not operate, replace transmitter and reprogram. See TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING .
