Test 1: Ecu Power Source Circuit

  1. DOME Fuse Check

    Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Ensure DOME fuse is okay. See Figure. Replace fuse if necessary. If DOME fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse fails again, check for short in Red wire between DOME fuse and wireless door lock control ECU terminal No. 8. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .

  2. ECU Power Source & Ground Test

    With ignition switch in OFF position, remove wireless door lock ECU from below radio. See Figure. Measure voltage between ECU connector terminals No. 8 (Red wire) and No. 1 (White/Black wire). See Figure. If battery voltage does not exist, check for an open in Red or White/Black wire. If 10-14 volts exist, proceed to next test listed in TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
