Test 19: Tailgate Control Switch Circuit: Testing
- Check tailgate control switch. See TAILGATE SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch is okay, go to step 2. If switch is faulty, replace switch.
- Check wiring and connectors between switch and back door ECU. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- If connectors or wiring are faulty, repair as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed in appropriate SYMPTOM INDEX table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
