Park/Neutral Position Switch

Ensure ignition switch is turned to ON position. Move shift lever from "D" to "N" position. If CRUISE control indicator light comes on when shift selector is in "N" position and goes off when shift selector switch is in "D" position, circuit for that switch being activated is okay. Go to next step. If CRUISE control indicator does not function as indicated, see SYMPTOM TESTS  and perform appropriate test(s).
