WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2000 Toyota Tacoma, 2000 Toyota RAV4, 2000 Toyota ECHO, 2000 Toyota Corolla, and 2000 Toyota Celica. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING:
ALWAYS release fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.
NOTE:
On Camry CNG models, fuel pump is not used and information is not available from manufacturer for checking fuel pressure. For testing of fuel system components, see FUEL SYSTEMS in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING - 4-CYLINDER
article.
NOTE:
On all models except Camry CNG models, basic diagnosis of fuel system should begin by checking fuel pump operation and fuel pressure.
