DTC B2795: Unmatched Key Code

NOTE: DTC C2795 exists when ignition key that has not been registered is inserted into ignition lock cylinder.

If this DTC is output, clear DTC from ECM. See CLEARING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Reinsert ignition key in ignition lock cylinder. Recheck to see if DTC B2795 is reset.
When ignition key is found that causes DTC B2795 to be reset, ignition key must be registered. See ADDITIONAL MASTER KEY REGISTRATION or ADDITIONAL SUB-KEY REGISTRATION under PROGRAMMING. If DTC B2795 does not reset, there is a possibility that unregistered ignition key has been previously inserted into ignition lock cylinder and ECM is operating normally. Check with customer to verify ignition key usage.
