Ecu Power Source Circuit
- Disconnect theft deterrent ECU harness connector. Measure voltage between terminals No. 2 (White/Blue wire) and No. 11 (White/Black wire) of theft deterrent ECU harness connector. See Figure. If 10-14 volts is present, no problem is indicated at this time. Fault may be intermittent. If sent here from SYMPTOM TESTS, perform next test under appropriate symptom. If 10-14 volts is not present, go to next step.
- Check continuity between ground and terminal No. 2 (White/Blue wire) of theft deterrent ECU harness connector. See Figure. Check continuity between ground and terminal No. 11 (White/Black wire) of theft deterrent ECU harness connector. Continuity should be present in both wires. Repair any problems found. If no problems were found, replace theft deterrent ECU. Retest system.
