Section 375 (Air Conditioning System): Refrigerant: Replacement

  1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 
    1. Turn the A/C switch ON.
    2. Operating the cooler compressor at the engine rpm of approx. 1,000 for 5 to 6 min., circulate the refrigerant and collect compressor oil remaining in each component into the cooler compressor as much as possible.
    3. Stop the engine.
    4. Let the refrigerant gas out.
      1. SST 07110-58060 (07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88060, 07117-88070, 07117-88080)
  2. CHARGE REFRIGERANT 
    1. Using a vacuum pump, evacuate system. .
    2. Charge refrigerant, HFC-134a (R134a).
      1. Standard: 550 +/- 50 g (19.37 +/- 1.76 oz.)

  3. WARM UP ENGINE 
  4. INSPECT LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT
