Auto Lock/Unlock Function: Operation
NOTE:
Auto lock/unlock function is set to Mode 1 upon shipment to dealership.
Automatic door lock/unlock system provides 4 different modes of operation.
- Mode 1
This mode automatically locks all doors when gear shift lever is moved from Park after ignition switch is turned to ON position and all doors are closed. - Mode 2
This mode inhibits all auto lock/unlock functions. - Mode 3
This mode automatically locks all doors when gear shift lever is moved from Park after ignition switch is turned to ON position and all doors are closed. This mode also automatically unlocks all doors when gear shift lever is moved to Park with ignition switch in ON position. - Mode 4
This mode automatically locks all doors when gear shift lever is moved from Park after ignition switch is turned to ON position and all doors are closed. This mode also automatically unlocks all doors when driver door is opened within 10 seconds of turning ignition switch to ACC or LOCK position from ON position, or key is removed from ignition switch.
