Inspection Procedure

  1. Check courtesy switch  . See step 2 under INSPECTION .
    1. OK: Go to next step.
    2. NG: Replace courtesy switch.
  2. Check for a grounding malfunction caused by loosened screw. 
    1. OK: Go to next step.
    2. NG: Install screw.
  3. Check harness and connector between courtesy switch and body ECU, and courtesy switch and body ECU. 
    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
    2. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
