Circuit Description

The Hybrid Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (HV ECU) delivers a vehicle speed signal to the ECM. DTC is set when vehicle speed signal is not received at ECM for 16 seconds or more while vehicle is being driven at 12 MPH or more. Possible causes are:

• Defective wiring or electrical connectors.
• Defective HV ECU.
• Defective ECM.
