How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 
    1. Without applicable symptoms, proceed to "A".
    2. With applicable symptoms, proceed to "B".

    B : Go to step   4 

    A: Go to next step 

  3. SYMPTOM SIMULATION 
  4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS   ) 
    1. Without applicable symptoms, proceed to "A".
    2. With applicable symptoms, proceed to "B".

    B : Go to step   6 

    A: Go to next step 

  5. CIRCUIT INSPECTION AND PART INSPECTION (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS   ), then go to next step. 
  6. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING IN THE FOLLOWING METHOD, DEPENDING ON MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM 
    1. Terminals of ECU (See TERMINALS OF ECU .)
    2. On-vehicle inspection (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION .)
  7. ADJUSTMENT, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT 
  8. CONFIRMATION TEST
