See LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUIT under CIRCUIT TESTS in ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS article in DOOR LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS. Disconnect connector from switch and backprobe on wiring harness side. See Figure. See INSPECTING LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUIT (CONNECTOR DISCONNECTED) table. If test results are not as specified, inspect and repair related circuit wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
