Blower Unit: Removal

  1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR 
    1. Open the glove compartment door.

      Push both side inward one after another and pull out the glove compartment door.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and glove compartment door.

    3. Cut out the instrument panel as shown in Fig 2.

      HINT:

      After cutting out the instrument panel, file the cutting face and smooth the surface.

  2. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT 
    1. Disconnect the blower resistor, blower motor connectors and harness clamps to the blower unit.
    2. Disconnect the air inlet servomotor connector.

    3. Remove the 2 screws, 2 nuts and blower unit.
