Heater Main Relay: Inspection

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  See FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE .
  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH  See COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD .
  3. REMOVE HEATER MAIN RELAY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 passenger side junction block set nuts .

    3. Remove the heater main relay from passenger side junction block.

  4. INSPECT HEATER MAIN RELAY CONTINUITY

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.

  5. INSTALL HEATER MAIN RELAY 
    1. Install the heater main relay to passenger side junction block.
    2. Install the passenger side junction block set nuts.
    3. Connect the connectors.
  6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
