Inspection Procedure

Check voltage between terminals IG+ and GND of integration control and panel.
PREPARATION:
1. Remove integration control and panel with connectors still connected (See REMOVAL ).
2. Turn ignition switch to ON.
CHECK:

Measure voltage between terminals IG+ and GND of integration control and panel.

OK:
1. Voltage: 10 - 14 V

1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
2. NG : Go To Next Step.
Check continuity between terminal GND of integration control and panel and body ground.
PREPARATION:

Turn ignition switch to LOCK.

CHECK:

Measure resistance between terminal GND of A/C control assembly and body ground.

OK:
1. Resistance: Below 1 Ω

1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. OK : Go To Next Step.
Check GAUGE fuse.
PREPARATION:

Remove GAUGE fuse from instrument panel J/B.

CHECK:

Check continuity of GAUGE fuse.

OK:
1. Continuity exists.

1. NG : Check for shot in all the harness and components connected to the GAUGE fuse (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
2. OK : Check and repair harness and connector between integration control and panel and battery.
