Inspection Procedure

- INPUT SIGNAL CHECK
- See "input signal check" on PRE-CHECK .
- Check the indicator light operation when the clutch pedal is depressed.
OK:
The indicator light goes off when depressing the clutch pedal.
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- NG: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT CLUTCH SWITCH ASSY
- Disconnect the clutch switch connector.
- Check that the continuity exists when the clutch switch assy is operated.
OK:

- NG: REPLACE CLUTCH SWITCH ASSY
- OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Check for open and short circuit in the harness and the connector between terminal D of ECM and the clutch switch (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- Check for open and short circuit in the harness and the connector between the clutch switch and the battery (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK: CHECK AND REPLACE ECM (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
