Check Strap: Installation

- Position check strap on door through speaker hole (Figure ).
- Install nuts attaching check strap to door end frame. Tighten nuts to 11 N.m (90 in. lbs.) torque.
- Install door speaker, if equipped.
- Install front door watershield. (Refer to INSTALLATION ).
- Install front door trim panel. (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Place check strap into position on A-pillar.
- Install screws attaching check strap to A-pillar (Figure ). Tighten screws to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.) torque.
