Inspection Procedure

  1. SERVICE CHECK MODE (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY) 
    1. Perform service check.
      1. Start the diagnostic system and read the check result for the stereo component amplifier assy.

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      A "NCON" is displayed or no display (DSP AMP)
      B "GOOD" is displayed
    1. B: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
    2. A: Go to Next Step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the radio receiver assy R7 connector and stereo component amplifier assy S11 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the values in SPECIFIED CONDITION  .

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Specified condition
      TX+ (S11-8) ((1)) - TX+ (R7-5) Below 1 Ω
      TX- (S11-7) ((1)) - TX- (R7-15) Below 1 Ω
      TX+ (S11-20) ((2)) - TX+ (R7-5) Below 1 Ω
      TX- (S11-19) ((2)) - TX- (R7-15) Below 1 Ω
      TX+ (R7-5) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      TX- (R7-15) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      (1) Coupe
      (2) Convertible

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  )
