Data List/Active Test

  1. READ DATA LIST

    HINT:

    Using the hand-held tester's DATA LIST allows switch, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.

    1. Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    3. Read the DATA LIST.

      ANTENNA COIL Transponder key coil condition/NORMAL or FAIL NORMAL: Transponder key coil is normal FAIL: Transponder key coil is malfunctioning  
      IMMOBILIZER Immobilizer system status/SET or UNSET SET: Without key UNSET: Power switch ON (IG)  
      CHECK (SECURITY) Verification with smart ECU/NORMAL or ABNORMAL NORMAL: Verified with smart ECU ABNORMAL: Not verified with smart ECU  
      PERMIT (START) Hybrid control system starting control/OK or NG NG: Hybrid control system starting is not permitted OK: Hybrid control system starting is permitted  
      G-CODE SUPPORT   NOT SUP: G-code is not supported SUPPORT: G-code is supported  
      MASTER KEY Master key code signal/NO MATCH or MATCH NO MATCH: Unmatched master key code is sent MATCH: Master key code is sent  
      REGISTER MAS CODE Number of registered master key/min.: 0; max.: 5 Number of registered master key  
      REGIST SUB CODE Number of registered sub-key/min:. 0; max.: 5 Number of registered sub-key  
  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST 

    HINT:

    Performing the hand-held tester's ACTIVE TEST allows relay, VSV, actuator, and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The DATA LIST can be displayed during the ACTIVE TEST.

    1. Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    3. Perform the ACTIVE TEST according to the display on the tester.
