On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER 
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. INSPECT INJECTOR RESISTANCE 
    1. Disconnect the 6 injector connectors.
    2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Resistance: 11.6 to 12.4 Ω at 20°C (68°F) 

      If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector.

    3. Reconnect the 6 injector connectors.
  5. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER
