Fuel Tank And Line: Installation

INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY
1. Set up the fuel tank on the transmission jack.
2. Operate the transmission jack and install the fuel tank.
3. Install the 2 fuel tank bands with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 62 N.m (632 kgf.cm, 45 ft.lbf)

4. Install the fuel pipe bracket to the body with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)

CONNECT FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR
CONNECT FUEL MAIN TUBE AND RETURN TUBE (See SFI SYSTEM )

CONNECT SPEED SENSOR WIRE
Connect the speed sensor wire to the fuel tank with the nut.

INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the pump module connector, vent hose and purge line hose to the charcoal canister.
2. Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 4 bolts.
  Torque:14.7 N.m (150 kgf.cm, 11 ft.lbf)

INSTALL FUEL INLET PIPE SHIELD
1. Install the fuel inlet pipe shield with the 4 bolts.

2. Install the fuel tank cap.
CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS
INSTALL SPARE TIRE
