- REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER

- REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT

- INSPECT EXHAUST PIPES AND MOUNTINGS
Visually inspect the pipes, hangers and connections for severe corrosion, leaks or damage.
- INSPECT AIR FILTER
- Visually check that the air filter is not excessively dirty or oily.
HINT:
Oiliness may indicate a stuck PCV valve.
If necessary, replace the air filter.
- Clean the air filter with compressed air.
First blow from the inside of the filter thoroughly then repeat from the outside.
- Visually check that the air filter is not excessively dirty or oily.
- REPLACE AIR FILTER
Replace the air filter with a new one.
- INSPECT FUEL LINES AND CONNECTIONS, AND FUEL TANK VAPOR VENT SYSTEM HOSES AND FUEL TANK BAND
Visually inspect the fuel lines for cracks, leakage, loose connections, deformation or tank band looseness.
- REPLACE GASKET IN FUEL TANK CAP

- REPLACE SPARK PLUGS

- INSPECT CHARCOAL CANISTER
