Transmission Control Cable Assembly: Installation

INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
1. Install the shift cable grommet retainer No. 2 to the floor shift cable.
2. Put in the control cable to the body.
3. Install the floor shift cable as shown in Fig 1.
  HINT:
  - Install it with the uneven surface facing up.
  - Securely engage the claws.

4. Connect the control cable to the control cable clamp.

5. Temporarily install the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.

6. Connect the transmission control cable assembly with a new clip to the bracket.

7. Install the shift cable grommet retainer No. 2 with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (50 kgf*cm, 43 in.*lbf)
