How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
    • GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK 
    1. Interview the customer to confirm the trouble (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
    • GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE 
    1. If the fault is not listed on the problem symptoms table, proceed to A.
    2. If the fault is listed on the problem symptoms table, proceed to B.

    B: Go to step  5

  4. CIRCUIT INSPECTION AND PART INSPECTION 
    • GO TO NEXT STEP 
  5. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING IN THE FOLLOWING METHOD, DEPENDING ON MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM 
    1. TERMINALS OF ECU 
    • GO TO NEXT STEP 
  6. ADJUSTMENT, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT 
    • GO TO NEXT STEP 
  7. CONFIRMATION TEST
