Inspection Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - SKID CONTROL ECU)
- Check for an open or short circuit in harness and connector between the ECM and the skid control ECU (See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS ).
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)
HINT:
- If the problem still occurs after the replacement, replace the ECM.
- When a malfunction is found in the skid control ECU, replace the brake actuator assembly.
