VVT Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 12 under  REMOVAL  ) 
  2. REMOVE VVT SENSOR

    1. Intake camshaft (Bank 1).
      1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
      2. Remove the bolt and the VVT sensor.
    2. Exhaust camshaft (Bank 1).

      1. Remove the windshield wiper link assembly (See step 5 under REMOVAL ).
      2. Remove the cowl top outside panel front (See REMOVAL ).
      3. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
      4. Remove the bolt and the VVT sensor.
    3. Exhaust camshaft (Bank 2).

      1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
      2. Remove the bolt and the VVT sensor.
    4. Intake camshaft (Bank 2).

      1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
      2. Remove the bolt and the VVT sensor.
