Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - RADIO RECEIVER)
    1. Disconnect the radio receiver R19 or R3 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      BATTERY - RADIO RECEIVER RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      GND (R19-20) - Body ground ((1)) Always Below 1 Ω
      GND (R3-7) - Body ground ((2)) Always Below 1 Ω
      (1) Separate Type Amplifier
      (2) Built-in Type Amplifier
    3. Measure the voltage according to the values in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      BATTERY - RADIO RECEIVER VOLTAGE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      +B (R19-1) - GND (R19-20) ((1)) Always 10 to 14 V
      +B (R3-4) - GND (R3-7) ((2)) Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC (R19-11) - GND (R19-20) ((1)) Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V
      ACC (R3-3) - GND (R3-7) ((2)) Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V
      (1) Separate Type Amplifier
      (2) Built-in Type Amplifier
