Charging System (3MZ-FE): Generator: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE V (COOLER COMPRESSOR TO CRANKSHAFT PULLEY) BELT NO. 1 (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Remove wire harness clamp [A].
2. Disconnect generator connector [B].

3. Open the terminal cap, remove the nut and disconnect generator wire [C].
4. Loosen bolts A and B.
5. Loosen bolt C to lessen the tension of the V belt.

6. Remove bolts A and B, and the generator.
