Air Conditioning Control Assembly: Removal

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
HINT:
At the time of installation, perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. - REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER
- Disengage the 12 clips and remove the center resistors, then disconnect the connectors.
- REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Disengage the 7 clips and remove the integration control panel assembly, then disconnect the connectors.
- REMOVE A/C AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)
- Disconnect the connector clamp.
- Remove the 3 screws, 4 bolts and radio receiver bracket LH.
- Remove the 2 screws and A/C amplifier.
- REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System)
- Remove the 2 screws, 2 bolts and EMV.
- REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL (w/ Navigation System)
- Disconnect the connector clamps.
- Remove the screw, the 2 bolts and radio receiver bracket RH.
- Remove the integration control panel from the radio receiver.
- REMOVE HEATER CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)
- Disconnect the connector clamp.
- Remove the 6 bolts and radio receiver bracket LH.
- Disconnect the connector clamp.
- Remove the 6 bolts and radio receiver bracket RH.
- Remove the heater control panel.
