Rear Coil Spring: Removal
- DRAIN ACTIVE HEIGHT CONTROL SUSPENSION FLUID (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
Torque: 131 N*m (1,340 kgf*cm, 97 ft.*lbf)
- SUPPORT REAR AXLE HOUSING WITH JACK
- REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT REAR STABILIZER BRACKET
- Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the 2 stabilizer bar brackets.
Torque: 18 N*m (185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
- Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the 2 stabilizer bar brackets.
- DISCONNECT REAR LATERAL CONTROL ROD ASSEMBLY
- Remove the nut, washer and bolt, and disconnect the lateral control rod.
Torque: 150 N*m (1,530 kgf*cm, 111 ft.*lbf)

HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following items.
- Replace the used nut with a new one.
- After stabilizing the suspension, torque the nut.
- Remove the nut, washer and bolt, and disconnect the lateral control rod.
- DISCONNECT REAR AXLE BREATHER HOSE SUBASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING
- Begin to lower the axle housing.NOTE: Be careful not to snap the brake line and parking brake cable.
- While lowering the axle housing, remove the coil spring and insulator.
At the time of installation, please refer to the following items.
- If the coil spring end is not in the correct position, reinstall the coil spring.
- Remove the bolt and follow spring from the frame.
Torque: 28 N*m (290 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf)
- Begin to lower the axle housing.
