Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance: 

      (front LH / front RH / rear LH / rear RH) 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - Body ground Pushed Below 1 Ω
      1 - Body ground Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      (glass hatch / back door) 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Door Lock Latch Position Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Open or half lock Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Closed 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    OK : Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION RELAY - DOOR COURTESY SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      PCTY (I12-13) - (D8-1) Below 1 Ω

    3. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      ID-1 - D7-1 Below 1 Ω
      ID-15 - D10-1 Below 1 Ω
      ID-14 - D9-1 Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK : Go to Next Step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      ID-16 - B6-2 Below 1 Ω
      ID-16 - G5-2 Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      B6-1 - Body ground Below 1 Ω
      65-1 - Body ground Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK : REPLACE TVIP ECU
