Fuel Pump: Disassembly
- REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

- Unlock the fuel sender gauge, and slide it to remove.

- REMOVE FUEL NO. 1 TANK BAND BRACKET
- Using needle nozzle pliers, remove the E-ring.

- Disengage the 4 claws of the fuel No. 1 suction support and remove the fuel No. 1 tank band bracket from the fuel suction plate with the fuel filter.
- Remove the spring from the fuel suction plate.

- REMOVE FUEL NO. 1 SUCTION SUPPORT
- Using a screwdriver with the tip taped, disengage the claw and remove the fuel No. 1 suction support.

- DISCONNECT FUEL PUMP HARNESS
- Disconnect the fuel pump harness connector from the fuel suction plate.

- REMOVE FUEL PUMP
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 5 claws and pull out the fuel pump from the fuel filter assembly.
NOTE:
- Do not damage the fuel pump filter.
- Do not remove the suction filter.

- Remove the fuel pump harness connector.

- Remove the O-ring from the fuel pump.

- REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel filter.

- Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel pressure regulator.
