VSC Off Switch: Inspection

INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
3 - 6	Switch is not pushed in	10 kΩ or higher
3 - 6	Switch is pushed in	Below 25 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

Check the illumination operation.

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION TABLE

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
4 - 5	Battery's positive (+) lead connected to terminal 5 and negative (-) lead to terminal 4	LED illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
