Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When using Techstream to troubleshoot the LIN communication line: Connect Techstream to the vehicle, and turn the courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.
  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch on (IG).
    3. Check whether the DTC output recurs.

      Result 

      RESULT REFERENCE TABLE

      Result Proceed to
      B2313 is not output A
      B2313 is output B

    A: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

    B: Go to next step. 

  2. INITIALIZE SYSTEM (POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and initialize the power window regulator motor (on the driver side) (See CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS  ).
    2. Turn the ignition switch off.
    3. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch on (IG).
    4. Check whether the DTC output recurs.

      Result 

      RESULT REFERENCE

      Result Proceed to
      B2313 is output A
      B2313 is not output B

    B: END 

    A: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)  (See REMOVAL  )
