Power Window Master Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH 
    1. Check that the switch function.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        If the result is not as specified, replace the master switch.

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the master switch and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK 

        MEASUREMENT CONDITION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (LED)
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E)
        LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the master switch.
