Air Fuel Ratio Sensor: Installation
- INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2)
- Temporarily tighten the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH.NOTE: Do not damage the air fuel ratio sensor.
- Using SST, fully tighten the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH.
SST 09224-00010
Torque: 44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf) for use without SST
40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf) for use with SST
HINT:
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).
- Make sure that SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.
- Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector and clamp.
- Temporarily tighten the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH.
- INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1)
- Temporarily tighten the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH.NOTE: Do not damage the air fuel ratio sensor.
- Using SST, fully tighten the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH.
