Inspection Procedure

1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
3. Depress the brake pedal more than 20 times.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
5. Select the Data List mode on Techstream.

6. Confirm whether the accumulator output voltage is normal.

B: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID 

A: Go To Next Step 

1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Depress the brake pedal more than 20 times.
3. Install a brake pedal effort gauge (SST), and bleed air.
4. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
6. Select the Data List mode on Techstream.

7. Check that the master cylinder output value is in the Normal Condition range.

   OK: Master cylinder pressure sensor value is in the Normal Condition. 

NG: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID 

OK: Go To Next Step 

1. Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).
2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
3. Depress the brake pedal more than 20 times.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
5. Wait until the pump motor stops.
6. Depress the brake pedal and release it.
7. Wait for 25 minutes.
8. Check if the same DTCs are recorded.
