Inspection Procedure
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the P9 switch connector.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between terminal 4 of the wire harness side connector of the switch and the body ground.
Standard voltage:
10 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (SWITCH - RELAY)
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE)
- Remove the power window switch.
- Check the continuity between the terminals of the switch connector when the switch is operated.
Standard resistance
TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHARTTerminal No. Switch Specified Condition 1 - 2, 3 - 4 UP Continuity 1 - 2, 3 - 5 OFF 1 - 4,3 - 5 DOWN NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SWITCH - MOTOR) (SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P13 motor connector.
- Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHARTTerminal No. Specified Condition P9-1 - P13-1 Continuity P9-3 - P13-2 - Check the continuity between the P9 switch connector and the body ground.
Standard resistance
TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHARTTerminal No. Specified Condition P9-1 - Body ground No continuity P9-3 - Body ground NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
- Remove the motor.
- Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly.

Battery negative (-) → 2Motor gear rotates clockwise Battery positive (+) → 2
